Account Hacked! Anybody else?

This is CorrinAvatan on the forums. It seems that my account was hacked this morning. Thankfully, so far, the only damage is that they've changed my picture on my profile. I got three emails this morning talking about the fact that someone requested a change to my email address, and I was wondering if anybody else had this happen to them, or if it is just a random occurrence (It's possible I might know who it is if there isn't a group of people whose accounts were hacked).

I already contacted Wizards to report the hack. But I was trying to see if it was just me, or if Wizards themselves got hacked.

Sep 06, 2010 19:42:37 Cart I am not sure what you have going on here. After reading your other post on this it sounds like to me that you shared your password with people in your gaming group. Probably to share the CB etc. I wont go into how that is against the TOS for these tools but it sounds like one of those players has intentionally gone in to change the password to keep the DDi tools for themselves at least for a period of time.

FYI you can update 5 computers a month with one password.

Yes by but by the terms of service those computers must be yours. You are not allowed to say update it on your friends computer per the TOS. The only exception is that if you have a minor child you can share with them.
