Every time there is a change with the ways the forums work I have to change my account. This time I got an error message when I was trying to put in my information that told me to close my browser and try again. So I did and I got the same message. I always seem to lose my account when a change happens.

Oh well, I guess its just a name and life goes on... except for my last forum name :P

They don't make it easy, do they?

I was having the very same issue, no matter how many times I closed my browser, or which browser I switched to.

I could get into the main D&D insider page, but eventually, I tried logging out of that, and then I couldn't get back in.

Eventually I thought to have them send me a reset password message.

Using the link on the new password e-mail, I was able to get past the point I always errored out at (actually, i never got to that page, where it asked me for a default profile, but since there is only one associated with my account, I guess it took it automatically - so this might not work for those with more than one). I got a page that asked me to fill out info that I hadn't before (postal code) and then let me change my password, and I was logged in at that point.

I think the key is to skip the page where you have to type your e-mail, your default profile, and the profile's password. That's where I kept getting hung up.

The password reset link seemed to get me past that page.

Hope this helps.

meh... it's just a forum name. I don't really want to go through too much hassle over it. I did want to see if I was the only one or not, which apparently I'm not and to bring it to the attention of someone. I'll probably email them letting them know what happened, but I don't really mind if I get them back or not.
