Which is the last step of the process I believe. |
| #3calronmoonflowerAug 14, 2011 20:53:18 | This is the type of thing that Customer Service should be e-mailed about. I would suggest hat each person with this error do so with a screen cap of the error and one showing that the wizard has been completed. |

Find out if he was the only one that has that problem. ![]() |
| #7mudbunnyAug 14, 2011 23:15:09 | Posting in Com Biz is like blowing a lure call. We get to see just what responds. As you can see, no one from A-CS has done so, only members. Because CS doesn't watch the forums looking for posts to respond to. They only respond to posts that are reported. In addition, someone having a problem with the Community SIte Software is not a violation of the CoC, and thus the Report Post button is not the appropriate meod for getting it fixed. As mentioned above, the appropriate step to take is to report the problem to Customer Service. |
| #8calronmoonflowerAug 15, 2011 0:19:27 | The very same people who refuse to answer e-mails? yes, them. Just because they are bad as some issues doesn't mean that they are bad at all issues. Between the three or four of us that responded 6 hours ago it's basicly fixed. Are you sure? Just because one followed the other does not mean that one caused the other. It could be that someone else e-mailed customer service and that is the cause of the fix. That is CS done right. Look I know your trying to do your job; your even good at it. but the little blue link may as well not exist. If the "little blue link" is not actually used, it wouldn't matter even if they are extremely fast an efficient about fixing the issue after being informed of it. Complaining about poor CS while at the same time refusing do what is necessary for CS to function is self defeating. |
| #9draco1119Aug 15, 2011 8:15:06 | They only respond to posts that are reported. I'm calling bull. I watched an ORC squat in a thread for about a half hour, deleting on-topic posts and then posts asking for clarification that were added after she showed up in the thread. Funny thing is, her post explaining that she deleted material for being off-topic and inflammatory was reported. AND THEN SHE CLOSED THE THREAD FOR "COMPLAINTS RECEIVED". Stop trying to tell us that they only repsond to posts that are reportied, because it just isn't true. |
| #10EscherEnigmaAug 15, 2011 8:38:43 | I'm pretty sure that I've seen this porblem intermittently since the fall of Gleemax. Not entirely sure what makes it go away, but it's not new and I won't be surprised if I see another complaint about it in a few more months. |

Not entirely sure what makes it go away, but it's not new and I won't be surprised if I see another complaint about it in a few more months. I think it's been around longer myself. Nit-pick - Given that the "Wizard" that the error statement is requiring be completed has only been in existance since the change to this Community Site, it can't have been around since before Gleemax. |

| #13Count_Von_CoCAug 15, 2011 15:58:04 | fix the PM issue, please. Or at least tell your bosses about it. |
| #14WotC_TrevorAug 15, 2011 16:46:12 | So two things. This is definitely something you need to contact CS about through the help system, this isn't something we can easily trouble shoot over the forums. It's likely something going on with the account, or something on the back end. Either way, we'll need to work with you and to do that, you'll need to start up that email thread. If it's an account thing we can probably get it fixed - if it's a system thing we need enough feedback from people to pinpoint the exact problem. Either way, talking about it on the forums is only going to get so far - please contact CS if you have this issue. Now as to the bits about people not being responded to at all when they send in a question/feedback, that shouldn't be happening. We track and respond to every incident that comes in. A couple things could be happening. The first is that after sending an incident in, definitely make sure to click the "finish submitting question button" that pops up after you fill out the form. I'm sure most people don't miss that, but it's worth mentioning just in case. Now on the return end, what sometimes happens is the response that CS sends out is eaten by your email or spam folders. The best way to see if your question has been responded to, is to check your my stuff tab for the questions you've asked and any responses that have been posted by you and the CS reps. Now if you go into your my stuff tab and see that the incident has been closed without giving you any kind of reply, please take a screen shot of that and PM me with it so I can look into it. That's not something we do, or should be doing, so I definitely want to know about it. |
| #15WotC_TrevorAug 15, 2011 17:48:39 | Hello Trevor, how are you? I'm pretty good PR - thanks for asking ![]() Over the years I've seen a few people post up that CS never responded to them about certain things, including conduct issues. I looked up the user in our system and checked their incidents, and most of the time I couldn't find an incident these people were referring to, and when I brought this up with them in a PM, man sent one in and were helped. Maybe it was an issue with not seeing that last button that needed to be pushed to send in the question, or maybe the browser was acting funny. Sometimes after talking with me, people just admitted to me in the PMs that they hadn't actually finished submitting the question, and they submitted a new question to CS after our talk. To address your specific point about conduct issues - conduct issues/incidents are responded to just the same as other incidents. Generally, it can take up to 3-5 days to get a response depending on how busy the CS team is and how complicated the issue is, and the same holds true for conduct. In general, the only time that a person won't get a response from conduct is if they've already been told the answer, didn't like it, and are just coming back at the rep again and again with the same question, or being incredibly adversarial after their original question has been answered. We don't force our reps to go through that kind of abuse on the phone or in email. Hopefully that answers the question and addresses that particular concern. But again, if people have an incident that was resolved without any response and they want us to take a look at it - send me a screen shot of the incident in your my stuff tab, make sure the incident number is in the picture, and we'll look into it. |
