| #1kuerydJan 06, 2012 9:31:56 | I just get an "Server Error in '/' Application. Anyone else have the same problem? |
| #2pluisjenJan 06, 2012 9:37:05 | What D&D server? I'm not having any trouble. Are you sure you didn't go to the wrong link or something? I've seen that error before, usually it went away after closing and reopening the browser. |
| #3frothsofJan 06, 2012 9:41:27 | I just get an "Server Error in '/' Application. same. maybe they are actually putting up some decent content (its been a while) |
| #4GelatinousOctahedronJan 06, 2012 9:41:47 | I have been getting the same error message. |
| #5ArtifactJan 06, 2012 9:45:45 | I can't get on the main DnD page using Chrome but there's no problem with Internet Explorer. |
| #6Ra-TielJan 06, 2012 9:47:27 | I'm getting wizards.com/dnd to barf up as well, running IE9 on W7 x64. ![]() |
| #7kuerydJan 06, 2012 10:00:59 | Now it's working again. |
| #8kuerydJan 06, 2012 10:05:34 | Or so i tought. Now it dosn't work again |
| #9posinegJan 06, 2012 10:11:33 | I also am having issues, test both OSX Safari and Firefox, no go. I hope it gets back up and running for I have a game tonight and need to print out my new lvl... |
| #10BohrdumbJan 06, 2012 10:25:32 | I also am having issues, test both OSX Safari and Firefox, no go. I hope it gets back up and running for I have a game tonight and need to print out my new lvl... Same. I think the system realized my group just hit paragon and since I have never before hit paragon, it's decided to screw me over. |
| #11Ra-TielJan 06, 2012 10:39:57 | Also very interesting: forums and Compendium are working for me but the homepage, Character Builder and Adventure Tools do not. ![]() |
| #12kuerydJan 06, 2012 10:57:04 | customer service is working on it |
| #13BohrdumbJan 06, 2012 11:14:29 | It seems partially up now. It's running but it keeps crashing on me. Not cool. |
| #14bagulhotipoxJan 06, 2012 11:31:22 | Bad Wizards! I paid for this!! |
| #15rabidsmilesJan 06, 2012 11:58:36 | I try loading the Character Builder and get this: System.ServiceModel.FaultException: System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> System.TypeInitializationException: The type initializer for 'WotC.CharBuilder.Web.D20RulesServerSession' threw an exception. ---> System.ServiceModel.FaultException: The application is temporarily down for maintenance. Are they working on the CB? I guess it would be nice for them to tell us, the ones who actually give them money for these services, that we can't access the the service and when we might be able to :/ |
| #16GhostriderJan 06, 2012 12:13:24 | You'd throw an exception if you were the target of an invocation too! /stealth check |
| #17RedSiegfriedJan 06, 2012 12:23:18 | I've been having intermittent issues since Wednesday night but I don't know how much of that was on my end vs. how much was on the server end. Just a crash now and then and no loss of data, though. |
| #18Style75Jan 06, 2012 12:59:03 | 2PM eastern time, still having trouble with the compendium and character builder. Both keep locking up and/or kicking me out. |
| #19LitmusJan 06, 2012 15:24:24 | CB not working for me in Chrome (was fine 24 hours ago), but switched to IE9 and okay so far. Actually seems to be noticeably faster in IE9 than it ever was in Chrome, which I suppose shouldn't be surprising for a Silverlight app. I might just stick with IE9 for the DDI tools... |
