| #1dadocollinMar 01, 2011 7:05:59 | Hey everyone, I just wanted to post a little note to get the word out about the Wotc Novels Book Club, a group in the D&D Community where we discuss novels and share other novel-related info like interviews, book reviews, etc. We've been reading and discussing Wotc novels for the past year or so, and we've had the participation of Wotc authors (like Erik Scott de Bie and Erin Evans) in most of our discussions. The next selection is going to be The Temple of the Yellow Skulls by Don Bassingthwaite, which is the first book of the new world-spanning event, the Abyssal Plague. Don has graciously agreed to participate in the discussion and answer all of your questions. So, if you're interested in participating, the good news is we haven't started yet. You can come on over to this introductions forum and let us know you'd like to play along (or just hop in on the discussion whenever you feel like it). We only read about 50 pages a week, so it's easy to read along, and a lot of fun to get feedback and answers from the authors. Our past discussions have turned up some great facts about the writing process, Wotc, and worlds like the Realms, so it's definitely worth your time to participate if you're interested. Hope to see you there! |
