I'm using firefox and occasionaly see broken posts where the post drips down the page through other posts.

Here is what I see.
Runonpost.jpg

And here is the HTML  captured from quoting the author.
Hmm 'code' doesnt seem to stop html from processing...
But at least I see the error happening again.

It'll probably be in the April update and/or PHB3 will just make PHB1 obsolete on such matters.<br /><br />
<br /> It's not a contradiction if the staff actually changes the damage type and not adds the damage type.
<br /> <br /><br />... Didn't you notice the two examples are about the same exact weapon enchantment? They <i>are</i> contradictory examples.<br /><br />
I'll trow in my two cents.<br /><br /><span style="text-decoration:underline">From the March update:</span><br />
If the damage types in a power change, the power both loses the keywords for any damage types that are removed and gains the keywords for any damage types that are added (the poison keyword is removed from a power only if that power neither deals poison damage nor has any nondamaging effects).
<br /> <br />The original keywords of the power are only removed if the damage types are removed. That's the important part of that rule "for any damage types that are removed". The magic item/feat/feature has to change/convert all the damage of a power to a different type of damage to lose any keywords. <br /><br />A Flaming weapon's at-will power changes all damage of a power you use to fire so under the new rules the power will lose all other keyword because it lost the damage type. If you you are using a +1 Flaming Weapon without the at-will switched on and crit you will now do +1d6 fire damage, but the rest of the power will be unaffected because the original damage types were not changed.
<br /> <br /><br />Nothing about Flaming Weapon says that all damage is only fire damage or that all damage is changed to fire damage.  Fire+cold is still doing fire damage--it still triggers fire vulnerability.<br /><br />Compare:<br /><br />Flaming Weapon: All damage dealt by this weapon is fire damage.<br />Elemental Challenge: When you deal damage to a creature by using your divine challenge power, you can change the damage type from radiant to acid, cold, fire, lightning, or thunder.<br />Power of the Storm: When you use a power associated with this feat, you can choose to change its damage type to thunder.<br /><div>

Might there now be a contradiction on PHB 226 and PHB 276 with the update?
<br /> <br /><br />They simply missed the reference on pg226. I'm see the same thing here and I use internet explorer 7.
Looks like the board might be having some problems with the code.
I suggest e-mailing Customer Service.

I've got a messed up menu of the Community. Drips down to cover, for example, edit button in the wiki. argh..

The above thing seems to have disappeared by itself, but I wouldn't like to see it return...

Edit: And I have the issue mentioned by the creator of this thread.
With IE6 I've got weird underlined text (almost everything), but that is mostly aestethical and does not cause problems with anything.

This is the only thread in which I am seeing any problem. And I use Firefox on XP (personal laptop), Firefox on Ubuntu (personal desktop), and Firefox on Windows 7 (work laptop).

I see all kinds of weird errors from time to time. This tops them all though.

Another weird thing, which tipped me off.

Argh... As you can guess, I'm not able to post in CoCo forum, though I can do it everywhere else...

EDIT: I'm logged in and everything, but no "Post Reply" or "Submit Post" buttons.

Zireael, what version of Firefox are you using? Do you still have the problem if you change to a different theme?

Another weird thing, which tipped me off.

The newest version. As for the theme, I'll see in a mo...

EDIT: Changed the theme, from Community to D&D one. The bug seems to have disappeared.

EDIT 2: TelinArtho mentioned same thing happening in another group. Seems I'm not as cursed as I think xD

Thanks! Would you mind doing me a favor and switching back to the Wizards theme? I can't reproduce this myself and need to know if it there still a problem for the people who were affected.

Switched back. Bug seems to have disappeared. As for the others, you could ask Telin (I don't know if he had it himself or just heard).

Great! Thanks for helping me out. Sorry about the hassle.
