Hello!

Last year over the summer my sister took a campaign to this very nice park called Grant Park, if you know it.  Here we met at maybe 10:00 in the morning.  We then wandered around the park going on an exciting adventure for most of the day.  At some point, we sat down and ate some fruit and some sandwiches.  At the end we were all tired, though we all felt like it was a fantastic experience.  I am thinking about running a weekly adventure like that.  Each week I would run the same story with a different group of people.  It would be played just like normal V. 3 Dungeons and Dragons with only a couple of changes: the distance you can walk in one solid stride is regarded as 5 ft, and to see if you can hit monsters you use an approximately 5 ft long stick.  The idea is that you get the experience of actually adventuring without getting slashed, impaled, or bludgeoned, and the removal of the square system of movement enhances the experience!  This is not stereotypical LARP (Live Action Role Playing www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJPfZVZF1Aw).  If you are interested, I live in Dayton, Ohio.  It will cost maybe $20.00 a person and lunch will be included.  If you have any questions, comments, or are interested, please respond to this.  Thanks!
