#1 mistwolf Jul 18, 2009 1:46:51	We have forums to optimize individual characters, but I haven't seen anything to discuss optimizing the party. 4e gives each character class a specialty to encourage teamwork. With character optimization, the character has all the right stuff to be the best, but will four individually optimized characters make for the best team? I think a forum to discuss optimizing team synergy would be very good for the game. Hey, it works for Super Heros. I'd like to see what the 4E Optimization Gurus can really do! Thank you
#2 Seeker95 Jul 18, 2009 12:37:55	I wouldn't think we need a forum for parties. The Character Optimization Board is easy enough to just make the thread title identify the need: Optimized Party: All Martial Optimized Party: Paragon Tier Optimized Party: PHB 1 only etc.
#3 mistwolf Jul 19, 2009 20:59:14	Why not? It's be the perfect place to discuss what classes and more importantly, what powers compliment each other. Threads get started, but get lost in the background clutter. I'd like to see some of these guys that give us some great optimized characters give us a party of optimized characters and show us how it works together. It's also be a reference for those who constantly ask "hey! We're putting together a party with...." Ultimately, the optimized party is more effective than optimizing a single character

Use it to optimize a party the same way you optimize a character.

It'd be good for the forums overall as it'd be a place to discuss the idea of working together. You don't like the idea? Fine. Move along, there's nothing for you to see here. If this thread dies due to lack of enthusiasm you can sit back and have a good laugh on me

No different than the goal of optimizing a cleric versus optimizing a warden. The thread title easily states the goal. Just make your thread title "party-focused" instead of "character-focused". Pimp my Party Optimized Party of Four Optimized: All Warden Party Best PHB-Only Party of Four? Optmized Party in an Undead Campaign Go to the current Character Optimization Board. Try it. I think you'll like it.
