Every time to report a post I get a blank white page that says this:
Could not cache template file. The template_cache dir must be writable (CHMOD 777).

If the report a post feature isn't working for you, please use this form as it will also go directly to the moderators on duty:

http://wizards.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/wizards.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=1208

Also in the future to report any problems with your account or any bugs, please submit them to Customer Service: http://www.wizards.com/customerservice, and we will be able to assist you directly.

Other people have been able to report posts, try again and see if it is working for you now.

Thanks much for the links, they have been bookmarked.

I just now went to report the thread (via the in-post report button) and it is working again.

Thanks for the help.

I've never seen that problem myself, Sokenzan.

One thing to try if you see it again is to hold down the shift key while hitting the refresh button. On IE and Firefox (I don't know about other browsers) that forces the browser to ignore whatever is in your cache and reload the page from the server. Sometimes that fixes weird errors like this one.

This is the first time I've seen it as well, first real problem that I've had with the boards.

I use Firefox so if I get a similar issue I'll try holding down shift when I refresh. Thanks for the advice.

I got that error while working last night and trying to move a thread for a VCL. I'd never seen it before, but it went away. I haven't had the problem since.

I'm sorry, WizO_Chaos. If you're having trouble with the site, you need to log into the support site (found here: http://www.wizards.com/customerservice ) and open a ticket. This helps Customer Service better track the status of your request.
