There are several threads in the Campaign and Adventure Workshop board that myself and a group of posters are using for a co-operrative campaign building game. Now, as they are quickly approaching 2000 replies, they are becoming quite large and unwieldy. Here in the next few days we intend to cmpile and move to a new set of threads.

I'm wondering how I would go about having the two older threads closed, to keep them from needlessly being bumped by random posters who may not notice that we have moved to a new set of threads.

Ask for it in the VCL request and don't forget to ask for htem to be marked Do Not Archive that they won't be lost in the archives. I'm sure webster wil understand

The original poster can ask for their thread to be closed.

Also when threads reach 100 or so pages it is generally closed so the thread doesn't crash.
