#1 joni-san Mar 15, 2009 18:00:53	I've noticed that those Class Banners have gotten popular lately. It's a neat feature. Some even have custom banners. Pretty fun overall. While it's not a problem for me, and I have nothing against it, I also notice people have multiple versions of them in their sigs. This might be a problem for posters with limited bandwith. Is there a way for them to disable sig images? Again, not a problem for me. I'd consider putting in a banner myself, if my sig weren't filled already. Some people have banner type images that aren't even D&D themed. With this in mind, should the possibility for Custom Avatars be reconsidered? -Joni
#2 RUMPLESTIX Mar 15, 2009 18:35:16	If you go to your edit option page you can do a few things. You can turn off signatures and you can turn off images but I am not sure if you can turn off just the images in signatures.

#5 Shiftkitty Mar 15, 2009 20:34:53	It seems to be sporadic to me. Sometimes my sig shows up in every post I put on a thread, sometimes only the first, sometimes once per page, argh! I don't get it! I've tried to keep my sig small, but I do like the Class Banner. I wouldn't protest if they were removed, though. I'd rather everyone enjoy the site rather than have my ego stroked.
#6 RUMPLESTIX Mar 15, 2009 21:45:01	I think the standard is for it to appear with the first post on each page. So, sometimes it will be with every post and sometimes not. there are several possibilities listed under the thread display options under the dit options part of the section.
#7 calronmoonflower Mar 15, 2009 23:45:11	Wasn't there a function where the Sig's only show up once pr poster pr topic once? That might help. My bandwith is decent, (100.0mbps) but this site in perticular takes forever to load. Which is another problem all together, but Im sure the banners are not helping. Multiples of the same pic should take the same time to load as one. I'm not sure how the rest of the sig would effect it, but one sig per page is the normal limit. For those that what to change one of these setting try this: Go to "My Accounts". Go to "My User Control Panel". Go to "Edit Options". Thread Display Options has Show Signatures & Show Images. It also has a box with a check that says "Display signatures multiple times per page (Normally signatures are only displayed on the first post of a user on a page)." Unclicking it will limit displayes of sigs to on per page.

That wasn't the question, though. And having seen one of these banners now, I'm very glad I made the decision to turn off sigs.
