| #1lord_karsusJun 14, 2008 18:38:35 | -Is there a problem with the Customer Help pages, or is it just me? This morning, I was attempting to file a complaint for a PM I received, but my log-ins failed. Is anyone else experiencing these problems? Can someone check? |
| #2hellmuteJun 14, 2008 19:20:12 | Did you try calling them? I don't play e-mail tag so I never use online customer service. I find a phone number and talk to an exec if need be to tell them exactly what the problem is and I refuse to play stupid email tag and other online games when trying to resolve a problem. Most decent companies have someone on the phone to help me before too long. |
| #3insatiumJun 14, 2008 19:21:26 | That uses a separate login, from what I've heard, so you actually have to register. |
| #4lord_karsusJun 14, 2008 19:31:35 | That uses a separate login, from what I've heard, so you actually have to register. -Yes, that's the part that's not working. Which is why I'm asking... |
| #5ZherogJun 14, 2008 20:46:02 | I was able to log in just now (9:44pm EDT). |
| #6lord_karsusJun 14, 2008 21:42:24 | :: Sigh :: -When I attempt to log in, it tells me how my e-mail is not in the database (although I have used this method of reporting problems before), and then when I input my information, thinking maybe somehow it all got erased or something, the prompt tells me that my e-mail address is already in their database. -I'll give it a day or two, see what happens... |
| #7ORC_ParadoxJun 15, 2008 2:06:43 | Also try clearing your cookies. |
| #8farmer42_dupJun 15, 2008 3:21:35 | Also try clearing your cookies. Make sure you nuke the cache and temp. files, too. Especially if you're using Firefox. FF is many things, and has many advantages, but, for some reason, half of the problems I run into with websites has to do with the FF cache not liking something. |
| #9lord_karsusJun 15, 2008 18:57:29 | -Tried all of that, and still, nothing. I tried logging on using IE, instead of Firefox, and encountered the same problem. -When I try to log-in, it doesn't accept my e-mail (even though I have an account), and it doesn't accept my e-mail when I try to have a password sent to my e-mail, in the case that I might have the password wrong. To humor myself, I use that e-mail to make a new account with CustHelp, and it tells me that that e-mail is already in the database. -Anyone got any other ideas? Asides for actually calling up and/or mailing? I have a bunch of PMs that I need to report, so I need to actually provide the screen shots and whatnot. |
| #10lord_karsusJun 15, 2008 19:05:51 | -Nevermind. I finally got it. |
