They will be doing a service where you can with a Web-GUI design how your miniature for RPGing should look (body type,
pose, weapons,armor, race, etc.) and you can then let them print out the miniature and ship it to you (they mentioned it will be
more expensive than a "normal" tabletop-mini, like 15-25 USD per miniature.
Their kickstarter campaign runs still another 16 hours (they already have got enough money that the project will definitely happen).
I think it would be great, if there'd be some cooperation between WotC and them
