| #1PsychmanJul 04, 2008 2:02:44 | Hi, I subscribe to the podcast through iTunes and the 2 most recent episodes are not downloading. Penny Arcade episodes 7 and 8 are getting an error 404 which according to the itunes forums seems to be a problem from the poster's end, not the client end. Can anyone suggest any help or let the appropriate people at WOTC know so it can be corrected? Thanks in advance! |

| #4unniloctJul 13, 2008 16:53:48 | Those two episodes aren't released yet. Just delete them form your podcast page and that'll solve the problem. Uh...no? All it'll do is remove those two episodes from your feed so you can never get them again! (Well, you'll have to re-subscribe to the podcast feed, at any rate.) WotC, for whatever reason, decided that they would add the entries for Episodes 6, 7, and 8 into the RSS feed before actually releasing the files. What this means is that before the audio files for Episodes 6, 7, and 8 are even uploaded to the server, they've added a "pointer" to them in the RSS feed. So when you click "GET" in iTunes, you're asking the server for a file that doesn't exist, despite what the RSS feed tells you. Of course, Episode 6 has since been released, so we all assumed that there were only going to be eight episodes and that WotC was just putting that out there. However, someone apparently forgot to upload the Episode 7 file Thursday evening (or even Friday [or even Saturday ]).As of yet it is unknown to us, the community, whether there is actually a problem or whether someone simply forgot to upload the file due to the RSS feed making it appear as though it is online. But it's also noteworthy that they haven't put up the Dragon post for Episode 7 either (y'know, the one with the comic panels drawn by Mike & Scott). TL;DR: Nobody knows what's going on, but don't delete your podcast feed entries, unless you feel like resubscribing to the podcast. |

Like anxiously awaiting an episode of Doctor Who only to find out they are skipping a week. I hope they get this taken care of, who does a guy have to shake down for a Penny-Arcade panel around here? |
| #6twoskewersJul 14, 2008 9:54:55 | Agreed, where is episode 7. I was waiting all week for it, especially because it appeared like they were giving us a "schedule" for when it was going to be released. |
| #7anti_climaxJul 14, 2008 14:45:31 | Not sure what is happening but I thought I should let you all know, there are going to be at least 10 episodes in total. This playlist file exists for episodes up to 10 but not beyond. |
| #8dmstoutJul 14, 2008 17:36:03 | The Penny Arcade podcast is now on the D&D Insider schedule. Episode 7 will appear sometime after the Character Builder goes online, Episode 8 around the same time as the Visualizer and Chapter 9 should arrive before the Game Table goes online but after the Sun runs out of fuel. So stop complaining, it's not like Episode 6 left us with a potential party-wipe cliffhanger... Jeez. |
| #9anti_climaxJul 15, 2008 16:48:27 | You should now be able to download episode 7 via iTunes or from the direct link: http://webcast2.wizards.com/podcasts_dandd/DnD_PA_Episode7.mp3 |
| #10mudbunnyJul 15, 2008 22:09:39 | According to The Rouse, due to vacations (on both ends, WotC and PA) this one took a couple of days longer to get processed and put out. Based onthings I have read, it appears that the processing gets done on the Penny Arcade end, not the WotC end. |
