It seems that he has listened to some of the complaints about lack of information. As a consumer who is interested in the digital suite it is nice to receive acknowledgment that they have not forgotten about me.
I did like the $59.40 price tag announced for a year subscription, as long as the content remains worth while that is.

I don't need online tools. I don't always have an internet connection available when I play.
I need offline, stand-alone tools like those that we were originally told were going to be delivered !
I am absoutely dumbfounded that WOTC would work so hard on creating a new source of revenue but leave the loyal fan base out to dry.
I've been a player of D&D since 1976 and I still have my original 6x9 set of rule books and 4 supplemental books and this is the first time I've actually considered not buying books....

So let's cater to a person playing for 32 odd years and leave the new generation out to dry, just to keep the 2% of the player base, who have been playing for 32 odd years happy. We all know that the players who have been playing for 32 odd years are the only 'loyal fan base' that matters.

I'm sure the number of players that are playing at table tops rather than on line is MUCH higher than your statistic of 2%.
Not to mention that I didn't say they should not develop the online stuff as well, but you are intitled to your own opinions, regardless of how short-sighted they may be.
