| #1calronmoonflowerMar 21, 2009 21:42:46 | I question came up on the 4E General Board in [thread=1165162]this thread[/thread]. I know of a few such threads, but I wouldn't know a way to find them all. Some help finding them would likely be appreciated. Also it could be a good idea to start a few more. [edit] Might as well start a list. [thread=1083776]"The one and only "Ask-Paul-Kemp" thread"[/thread] [thread=1072927]The one and only "Ask the Realms authors/designers thread" 4[/thread] |

It would be IMO a good idea for all questions to be filtered through a third party first, this would weed out the deliberately argumentative and plain abusive. It's a great idea in practice and you can see on forums like Dragonfoot how it builds a great sense of community to be able to talk with the people who write, design & develop our game. Sadly I believe it unlikely that many of the writers/designers/developers (Rich Baker/Paul Kemp are saints, Hellcow you can't get a sainthood with a name like that but kudos to you ;) ) will be willing after previous attempts have failed so spectacularly. Who knows though, maybe if people start demonstrating a little more restraint and courtesy we can lure them back. I think a writers/designers/developers section would be awesome, just unlikely. |
