Digital River is doing something shady with credit card information. I've tried to register with DDI a few times and they keep rejecting my card. Funny thing is, they never pass the info by my credit card company... hmmmm... The best part is that they keep recycling the same reply to my email pleas for help (and, all I really want to do is give them money).

Hi AndySarosy.

I'm sorry that you're having troubles. Since you aren't getty any satisfaction from Digital River, I suggest that you contact Wizards of the Coast customer service.

They might have some helpful information on how to get this situation resolved.

Already tried both of those approaches. I get automated email replies, and then when I do get something that seems to be from a real person they tell me that I entered my information wrong. When I tell them thats not the case, the replies stop. This has happened three times over the last five months.

I don't suppose you can give me a list of steps that will work, can you?

Customer Service is not responding with actual replies, but with automated responces.

Here are other threads that are about this issue:

http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=1174717

As well as this one where it was SEMI - adressed:

Seriously, stop recomending CS when the people comming here asking for help have already done so....

I'd say this needs to get passed up the chain and fast. ;)

Call WotC and ask for the switchboard. Then ask that person to connect you to a real person. They did it for me when my "3 month subscription" was renewed the day *after* I bought a one-year subscription. It took some effort, but we got it worked out.

Sometimes you need to be sure that you're putting in information exactly as it's shown on the credit card ... not the card number or the security code ... but the way the name is printed on the card (for example if it's in all caps, then you need to make sure that you type in your name in all caps).

Just a suggestion and that may not be the specific problem. But it is one that I've encountered over the years.
