I just noticed that if you are not already logged in, the setting-specific forums (Mystara, Greyhawk, dark Sun, etc) display as locked. This reverts to open once you log in, but someone might want to look into it.

bump

Any acknowledgement from the management that this issue exists, or any timescale on when it may be fixed? I'm sure there are people who aren't bothering to login after the 2-weekly logout, because they are seeing their favourite forum locked, and assuming it means they can't post even when logged in.

Aren't all the forums locked when you aren't logged in?

Doesn't the lock mean you can't post? Don't you have to log in to post?

well, the issue is that, when not logged in, those forums display a special "locked" icon, which other forums on this site don't display. A person intent on posting to such a forum, on seeing that forum display as "locked", probably won't bother logging in. Once logged in, the display returns to normal.

I am aware that you can't post in any forum while not logged in. This is essentially a display issue, but one which will discourage people from logging in.

When I log out all of the forums have a padlock next to them. I went and looked at the setting specific forums and they look exactly the same as general discussion or community business. They all have a little padlock that indicates you can't currently post in them.

Are you talking about something other than the little padlock? Am I missing something?
