Can someone please tell me why only Dragon #360 seems to have a downloadable (and printable) version? Is there a reason for this? Or do I just overlook something?

Thanks for your help.

Because originally, they were going to provide the magazine as a whole as a PDF.

However, it seems they have no interest in doing that anymore.

So, not only no print magazine anymore, also no whole magazine at all anymore. Sucks greatly.

Because the transition to 4e and the transition to DDI have shifted priorities along the way. The most recent announcement regarding Dungeon and Dragon magazines indicates:
  • New articles, features, and adventures will roll out every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
  • The entire month’s content will be collected into a full-sized digital magazine.
  • D&D Insider’s free beta period coincides with the launch of 4th Edition.
  • When the initial beta period comes to an end, subscription rates will go into effect.
  • Initially, they’re going to roll out a special, limited-time introductory pricing offer.
A lot less pessimistic of a response than you might receive from others. You might even say it is a more accurate response, relying on actual information from the publisher.

Thanks, Seeker. So there will be complete magazines once DDI rolls out. If someone knows a place where I might coincidally find "magazine versions" of the Dragon and Dungeon articles (which I can't bring myself to read - I want whole magazines), please send me a PM.
