I would like to make a request that neither of these forums stay singular. Each of these settings requires established sub-forums based on topics so we can better share and assist each other with our D&D experience. To leave it all pressed together as it currently is will make them almost useless in my opinion.

I don't understand. How will the new condensed forums prevent you from posting the exact same topics you did prior to the merging?

I can take it or leave it, but I can see how some people could find this problematic. Namely, because the topics that used to get placed in the "General Discussion" forum are much more active, and will push out specific question threads before they get answered. Most people never really look past the first page of any given forum.

A good point, and also the idea that finding information on the boards is easier when narrowing down the field. At the very least it would save server time because of the increase in forum searches I believe will happen because of the compression.

Well, personally, I'm not too much a fan of rampant bumping of threads, which needs to happen in a more active forum. Having all of them combined into one I don't think helps matters.

We want Sub-Forums NOW!

Merged forums must be stopped!

Community Management doesn't care what any of us want. That much should be obvious by now.

I'd say that the whole group is what perhaps matter for them, not a precise segment of the base. Note again that Eberron and FR have the same fate currently - as all the nonsupported settings, in a group 'other settings'.

It's clear that there will be later changes after the books are out, or soon before. Subforums coming.

Wished that they took a day offline or so to do things, however. Less confusing and perhaps easier to take.
