Okay, on every thread that I open and every post that I make, the page spins while trying to get info (or connect to) esrb.org.

Whatever you (the web tech folks) are doing to reach that site, and whatever information you are trying to spit back and forth, is being done with woeful inefficiency.

Can't you just make that connection once and save a cookie?

(I'm a pretty conservative parent-type guy, and I seriously could not care less what rating the ESRB gives the WotC website.)

Throw in the ehg-wizardsofthecoast.hitbox spinout, and pages are loading slower than they need to.

I think it is just the stupid image they are hotlinking to from there.

http://www.esrb.org/Seals/wizards/ectppswizards.gif
IMAGE(http://www.esrb.org/Seals/wizards/ectppswizards.gif)

Whether that is a phishing link in disguise as a gif image that takes data and returns the image, I don't know; but that is the ESRB.org link on every one of the pages.

I don't even see the image myself.

Thanks! I just added the image to my adblock filter (and any other images from esrb.org) so maybe that will help.
