Hope a Wizards mod reads this and passes it along:

Please take down the D&D Tiny Adventures Facebook app. While the concept is really cool, the writing is witty, and the art top-notch, the technical stability more than nullifies those positives. The technical issues surrounding it are going to have a negative halo effect on D&D Insider perceptions. Right now, having the app up is doing more harm than good. Pull it down, leave a fan page with developer information, stabilize and load-test the thing, then put it back up when it's more stable. Otherwise something really cool is going to deter 4e and D&D Insider adoption.

Interesting interpretation, I would have said the excitement and extreme demand amongst those who perhaps haven't heard of D&D before is doing great for increasing interest.

However, as mentioned in the OP, the application hasn't been accessible for a couple of days now.

Hmm, odd.

I was playing it this morning, or I thought I was.

Maybe it was all a hallucination. Maybe you're all hallucinations. Oh, kark. Spiders. I hate spiders.

I suspect that the new host that WotC is using for Tiny Adventures is soon to become another old host that WotC was using for Tiny Adventures.

We are looking into solving the issues with TA as soon as we can.

It is a great little game, and it will be even greater when the "try again" meta game is gone. We are working toward that goal!

Which reminds me... I need to adventure a bit more. I am only level 3!

Slacker!!

I just need to remember not to let myself solo without me watching me solo. As a wizard, I tend to get my a** kicked more often than I'd like.

No, it already had a negative impact if you check the DDI section of the forums.

The application is definitely working. I just retired my Elf ranger.

But I do have a question, with 8 characters why are only two of them female?

I'm really enjoying it and though it is annoying to constantly have it crash I have been patient and sometimes hit reload 10+ times before it worked again. I'm glad to hear that Wotc is aware of it. The main downside was when I was watching my character and when he had only a few hp left I tried to drink a potion of healing with 7 minutes left until the next encounter, but it wouldn't load again for another 10 minutes and by that time I had failed the subsequent encounter and died.

Things seem much more stable now and I'm having a lot of fun.

Becuase they took the Class-Pictures form the PHB and would surely not make new ones for Tiny Adventures. Wasted money, that would be...

Eh, they wouldn't need to make new pictures. Between the race and class chapters of the PHB they have examples of both males and females in every class.

Thanks for the linky, you guys rock.

Also yes there should be more female characters. I'd like to choose my race/class/gender but that might be asking a bit for now.

Anyway to play it without going on Facebook? I refuse to join Facebook for a variety of reasons but this does look cool.
