Oct 30, 2008 0:06:57 So I'm on the website and they have all these falling leaves. I don't know why, but I decided to see if I could click on one of them. It worked! Another window opened that said secret door and apparently it opened up to a random page. Maybe it didn't have anything to do with the leaves, I'm not sure. I tried clicking somewhere else without the leaves but nothing happened. Is this normal or am I missing something?

Seeing as you claim one game of 3rd edition as your only D&D experience you are also an inadequate and unreliable source of opinions about the game. I encourage the OP to try it and see if it is for you. If not, at least you can say you gave it a shot rather than just making absurd claims about how awful it is.

No, I have played many online games of D&D and read the core books extensively, I've only played one live game of D&D.

it is some sort of easter egg to random pages...I played with it for almost an hour...

Oct 30, 2008 4:00:17 The secret door used to exist in the trolls eye if you clicked on it. There is also one on the old archives page. It give a random page just as you said.

It might be annoying if you try a link and get a leaf instead though.
