Forum Formatting and Coding (Problem)

I have difficulty and frustration with these forums. This is primarily because I use these forums frequently to post statblocks for homebrew and house-ruled stuff. Formatting is very difficult on these forums, however, because of the imbeded HTML coding inside the message reception boxes.

In other words, if I copy and paste something into a post in these forums, it will retain whatever hidden code was present in the formatting, and reinterprate it for the forum's assumed standard. This is particularly evident when copy-pasting anything where there are paragraph breaks or incidental double-spacing. It is terribly annoying in the first place, and it is very difficult to correct, so as to make decent-looking forum posts.

I would very much prefer it if the forums here used standardized forum conventions, and did not hide HTML code. It makes copy-pasting very difficult.

That is, unless someone wished to supply 4e HTML/forum coding examples througout the forums. That would be nice.

But fixing the double- / half- / tripple-spacing issue would be better.

If you hit the HTML button and paste into that box, all the hidden HTML will be dropped.
That unfortunately includes breaks for spacing.
