Heya techy folks,

Umm ... this has happened twice today.  Just reading a thread in the Next section and suddenly I'm not logged in anymore.  Both times it happened after I clicked the forum header at the top of the page to navigate out of a thread but also into the same forum.  Once was in Mechanics for sure, can't recall the other time.  I access the Next forums via the actual forums and not through the group.  I was able to log back in once with the login button but that didn't even appear the second time.  Rather, I just clicked on 'forums' and it logged me back in.  Odd.  And annoying.  Anyhoo, FYI and thanks.

This has been happening to me as well.  I'll be passing it up the chain, so to speak.

Thanks.

This has been happening to me on and off for as long as I've been here.

I get logged out every time I change computers, but I think that's annoying-and-pointless-but-intended behaviour.

Which is a good question, though, I suppose:  IS the system supposed to log me out and make me click "log in" every time I switch browsers or computers?

Is there a good reason the Compendium makes me log in again on every new tab, even if I was logged in when I clicked "open in tabs" on 5 items?

Signing in on the main homepage instead of through the compendium should fix this problem.

Also I have had 2 posts disappear today when I clicked on submit.  Both times it gave me a message of "you need to be signed in to reply" even though I was signed in when I submittd my reply.  I then go to a forum page and am signed in like nothing was wrong.

Did that happen in the 'Next' section?  If so, that's likely why.  Apparently there's some bugginess with Next being both a forum section and a group.  It's logged me out today as well.  WotC is aware of the issue but hasn't said anything more than that so far as I know.

I think at least one of them was in the next section.
