Apr 15, 2009 18:17:58 Now that the Players Handbook 2 is out. Should the names for the classes be added to the role list? Or perhaps just remove the names all together.

Apr 15, 2009 18:23:02 Yes, but for some reason the forum admins haven't done it. AFAIK nobody knows why. It gets on my nerves a little though.

Apr 16, 2009 10:03:14 The VCLs and Forum Guides who move threads to the forum most appropriate for their topic are not the same people who get to name the forums and update those names.

If you have a problem with any thread that has been moved, feel free to PM me (as I'm probably the guy who requested the move), or start a thread in the [forum=46]Community Business[/forum] forum, which is also where I will be asking this thread to be moved.

And though you stuck-out the word "hidden", thus indicating that you understand that such threads are not actually hidden, I would like to point out that there is a link on the forum from which it is moved so people can easily find out to where a thread has been transferred.

In any case, yes, either remove the names or keep only the PH1 names there for newlings (the PH1 has the game's base ruleset after all). I did notice extra examples Artificer & Swordmage up there, & Wizard is all by itself...

Apr 19, 2009 9:45:14 The 4 individual forums for controllers, defenders, leaders and strikers only have the PHB I names in them. Can someone modify them to either include the other classes or exclude all specific examples? I've seen a few questions here and there on whether it is appropriate to be asking about non-PHB I classes in those forums.

Apr 19, 2009 9:55:04 It is okay to ask about any striker class in the striker forum, and so on. The name change is in the pipeline. The classes were originally there to help folks understand what classes filled which roles.

Apr 19, 2009 22:42:17 Easy fix: delete ALL the names. Leave it as Striker, Leader, etc., not including actual classes. That way, every time new power-source pops up (shadow, ki, hydrothermal, etc.) they won't have to change it.

That Forum could be sub-divided couldn't it? Paragon, Epic, Multi-class and Hybrid sub-forums maybe? Like they have in the Errata section.
