Forum not allowing post due to character limit despite lower character count.

Jun 06, 2012 21:47:41 I'm trying to edit a post, and it will not let me submit, giving me this error message:

Your post can be no longer than 65000 characters (yours is 44740 characters long). Please consider splitting the post up into two posts.

While I have considered that, the post is unlikely to get any larger than that, and 65000 > 44740, so it should still let me submit it. It won't, and it's extremely frustrating. Is there any way to fix this?
