#1 gamer_zer0 Jul 07, 2008 18:44:38	This forum would be a place where people can post links to interesting things related to D&D that they've found on the web. For example, a funny D&D cartoon, an amusing blog, a pop culture reference. Right now, these things seem to be falling into the off-topic area, which is seeing a lot of good traffic. But I wonder if it wouldn't be cool to have a dedicated forum. #3 wotc_jot Jul 07, 2008 18:55:07	I suggested this because I'm looking for more ways for community members to contribute to the community. For that to work, people need to know what the community's looking for and where they'll look for it. In this case, people are looking for links to D&D items across the web, and the place to look for them would be this folder. In the office, we always trade around URLs of articles, videos, comics, and other fun reads. The fans should be able to share and find this sort of stuff just as easily.

#8 wyvernsting Jul 07, 2008 22:06:50	WotC_Jot and I were talking about it and scratching our heads over a good name, and finally figured we'd appeal to the wisdom of our community to come up with a better name. =) All I ask is that it be less related to www.Glee.com (gay & lesbian community site) than www.Gleemax.com and perhaps remain more associated with gaming than alternative lifestyles. I'm not one to cause a stir but Gleemax.com is related to gaming about as much as Funbox.com would be to selling Real Estate. **Funbox.com selected randomly and should not be associated with any actual site.** Perhaps D&D Universal, iD&D, D&DCentral, D&DNA, or something equally ambiguous.
#9 seTiny Jul 08, 2008 20:31:11	What about a sticky in the Off Topic Tavern? Couldn't it serve the same purpose? If something is then worth discussing a thread can be made, but the sticky will still have the link/information
