| #2BelorinJul 16, 2008 15:16:36 | Just such a proposal is being discussed here. Bel |
| #3ZherogJul 16, 2008 16:03:18 | No it's not, Bel. What DMJB is suggesting is that every new book gets a new forum for discussion of that book. |
| #4wrecanJul 16, 2008 17:19:44 | No he's not, Zherog. His topic title says "Forum Proposal" but his OP clearly states "I'd like to see product specific threads" So I think that thread is what he's looking for. |
| #5BelorinJul 16, 2008 22:21:33 | I hope he's not suggesting a whole forum per book! Try moderating that! Bel |
| #6the_ubbergeekJul 16, 2008 22:33:08 | Actually, the forums once had places for specific products - but they where closed around 2004 and archived. Probably for that reason and others like limited use. |
| #7ZherogJul 17, 2008 6:34:31 | Yep - that's how the forums used to be organized. There were still places like "Monsters," "Magic and Magic Items," "Skills and Feats," and "General." But then there was also a forum for each book. And it was indeed a nightmare. |
| #8dmjboneJul 17, 2008 18:01:58 | Eh, yeah just to be (more) clear; what I was suggesting, was a thread for each new product under a "D&D Books" section. That way, if I want to discuss how others ran a published adventure or had questions about a specific encounter, I could have a "directed discussion." That's what I'm looking for. Not sure why this would be a "nightmare;" I'd find it pretty handy. YMMV. |
