Once again wizards has slapped the gamers that have supported them in the face. Today's anouncement that the Gleemax community site would be shut down in favor of diverting those resources to completion of other projects just means that wizards has no idea again what they are doing. First they decide arbitrarily to launch a whole new system under the D&D auspices which we have all came to love over the years without even consulting or asking what we as gamers want. 4E is the biggest joke there is and I have seen them all over 30 years of gaming in D&D. This beats out the 2nd edition fiasc0. They took a game that had a few issues, but nothing that couldn't have been fixed by someone in R&D if they had got off their butts and tried, and thrown this piece of dumbed down garbage called 4e to us. Once upon a time D&D was a game for nerds and geeks (ie. Smart People) now any 8 year old who can whine to mommy or daddy sufficiently enough can buy the core books of 4e and merrily start playing a game that is without doubt the sorriest piece of garbage there is on the market. Then there is Gleemax. Who came up with that name? No one I ever asked seemed to know. Just it was going to be the vehicle to propel the new D&D edition into the future. Ok, some of us thought maybe it will be all that and held our breath in anticipation. Then a new anouncement again without even a by-your-leave they jerked Dragon and Dungeon magazines promising the new and improved DDI would be so great. Well listen up boys, its not. Just so much junk has come down the pike from wizards in the past year it makes me ashamed to sell their product. So my own announcement, as owner of Dragon Market I will no longer carry or support wizard of the coast products except for any editions of the D&D game before 4.0 and I am calling on other retailers to do the same unless wizards starts republishing 3.5. Let them push 4e if anyone will actually buy it but give us the game back we all love.

Calling boycott, least using that kind of tone, it's pure CoC breaking.
