Recently, a user of these forums have decided to report every post me and a few other users make. For harassment.
The pattern typically goes something lke this: Someone posts something in my posting style (which is very discintive), and then they recieve a skalding PM, with accusations of being ME, with something at the end with "im reporting u for harassment."
Or, they could just simply disagree. Sameresult.
Or, they could PM him, asking him to lighten up. Same result.
I have screenshots of these PMs, if a mod requires them.
All of their posts get reported for "Harassment."
Then...
The user recieves a ban/warn/whatever in less then 24 hours later then the cycle repeats when they get unbanned.
This has been happening to me for a few months now.
I have no idea how the user is getting people banned so easily, and it is my idea that he is reporting them for sending flame PMs to him.
Which is stupid, as these can easily be faked.
So, why wait until now to report this? Well, the idea just came to me.
Also, he has apparantly found my personal information. I believe he may be sending it on this, or a different forum. My previous household is getting telephone calls from this user, I believe. My work has been called many times, and my boss has recently been told me that if I do not find a way to stop this calls, I may have to be fired.
It is possible I will be fired from my occupation because I disagreed with a stranger over the internet.
So, what do I need?
I need to talk to a WizO. Peferrably over an *Instant* form of communication (IE, IM). This is just my perference, I dislike any non-instant form of commincation, IE, Face to Face, Instant Messaging, phone, etc.
If I could talk to the WizO of the Paradox. We have a history together.
If a WizO wishes to verify who I am, they could check my email. I used the same to registers my other accounts.
I need an email to talk to Customer Support. I need them to actually answer my emails.

i had to track the dude down (found he lived in my state) and me and 2 buddies drove 2 hours and -----edit for appropriatness------- lol
creepy thing was how much the guy knew about me....

No, the Customer Service Database and the Forums database are separate.
Perhaps log out and log back in and try to send a new email.

you know the easiest why to get it delt with? Call the cops on this guy. The can track the phone calls, Acount activity and so muct more. Why not just call them, seems like there braking the law, not just gleemax rule, to me.

I've had a similar problem over at the City of Heroes boards. A poster who couldn't handle people disagreeing with him started reporting ever post I made, and even started harassing me in-game. I talked to the mods about it, and I haven't heard from him since.

That is considerd stalking, and if you boss is going to fire you for that, the I think it is/should be illegal to do. And wy is this guy calling his house anyway? hew has no reason to other then stalk him.

Ah, can't remember reading anything of yours. Had a lot of fun with CoH, but for some reason, this computer, which is superior in every way to the one I played on, can't handle the game.

I honestly don't understand this. What motivates someone to harass someone like this? I mean, there've been a few posters whose opinions simply annoy me, whom I sometimes feel might deserve to have every post of theirs reported, and yet I phoning them -- repeatedly -- is about the last thing I want to do. Obviously, this person's intention is to make your life miserable, and yet, I still don't understand what this person must be thinking.
Cyber-bullying is a new but clear form of harassment. (Especially when it crosses into traditional forms of harassment, obviously.) I won't advocate violence against this person, but I strongly suggest confronting him. Failing this, don't hesitate to take legal action against him; harassment is a crime, and deserves to be treated as such. In effect, this is assault against your mental health instead of your body; your psychological well-being is no less important than your physical health.

Close. Back in the day, I thought it sounded cool; a mash-up of Batman and Bushido. Now that I'm a little older, it's pretty obvious to me exactly how much of a tool I used to be just looking at it. ;) As it stands, though, it's my tag pretty much everywhere, so I'm kind of stuck with it. I have people I know in real life that refer to me as "Batshido," and I'm fairly sure they wouldn't know my real name if I asked them. :P

I'm a Daredevil/Cyclops/Captain America guy myself, in the Marvel U. Though Cable & Deadpool is easily one of the best books I've read in years.

If he Is about to get you fired, call the cops. He will stop after this, if he doesn't, the next thing is to buy a gun. You might need it.
And If he actualy logged on to you account, he is breaking the law (identity theft)

...Don't buy a gun for this guy. It can only end badly.
Instead, if it gets to this point, call the cops and hire a lawyer; if you're worried about your safety, invest in home defense (better locks, sturdy doors, bars on your windows, etc.).
