Hi, I'm new to D & D, COMPLETELY. I hope you can all help me to get into it. I've been reading my new 4th edition players handbook and i've never even seen anything-D&D before that!

I hope you can all make me feel welcome and can help with my questions about the rules (I've never read the rules before- not even any previous editions).

I like D&D, i've played only non-online computer fantasy genre games before. My favorite novel is the Silmarilion which I read several years ago now, hence I really like Dungeons and Dragons!

I love reading the rules, I love the pictures in the rulebooks and I really am looking forward to playing! I'm not really into sports like football or ice-hockey instead I think I will really enjoy D & D.

Hope you can make me welcome on the Forums and help me out!

Thanks a lot!

Sorry I don't know what contacting you by PM's is? I've only just registered on the Wizards site.

By the way I have asked some 4th edition questions on Players Handbook forum and Dungeon Masters Guide forum a few minutes ago.

Thanks, Greyelf

Instead of posting in community business you should post in the other sub-forums. There you will find the most help. They have a what's a player to do subforum that you should look at. They also have the different class forums that might help you out. There's also a sub-forum for finding a group to play in.

Hi again.

You can send PM's (Personal Messages) when you click on my name. In my profile you should see a "send this user a message" or something alike.

Also, I think the forums you talked about are the Errata forum, where people can post errors they spot. Best location for your questions might be here, in a collective thread..!

This is under community business, they need to post in the specific sub-forums where they can get help.
