How many posts in a thread can the new thread handle?

If there's no problems, there's no need to close the threads. So far, so good.

pffff. 3K? That's noob stuff. We OTTers have gotten way over that on a regular basis before the switch. Webster always had to lock them though. Meany fase =P

If ya wanna see what limits we can break feel free to join in with some of the big threads in the OTT. If there is a limit that can crash the forums we can find it. There is nothing in the OTT we can't do (except talk about banned topics )

Here is an example. This is a thread locked by webster many months ago for being too large and before the forum reformatting. Over a few month period it grew to 15,310 posts.

What do you want to talk about?

If we wanna try and find and break a post count we should probably revive that beast and let it grow. If there is a post count that can bring the forums crashing down thatthread would likely be the best bet for finding out.
