It's much more reliable than the old forum was, and it has so many features that the old one didn't have.

Well there's one other thing I want from the old forum and that's for the smilies to be the old one's smilies so I don't have to rely on a seperate page that has the coding of them listed.

The constant dull white isn't a huge complaint, but still, It's kinda dreary and a mood kill. I'd love to see something like a Parchment background or similar. Old school looking D&D something.

Yeah, I personally liked the background and layout of the old forums, although it is nice not having them go down constantly. WotC just can't win. Half the people say the new forums suck and we should go back to gleemax, the others say gleemax was hot garbage and an abomination that should never return.

Personally I'm ok with the new boards. But then the old ones I had to do some pretty out there stuff just to sign on 90% of the time. (I'd have to sign in through the My Account page then navigate back to the forums from there.) And that's assuming that they were up at that point in time.

The old ones would be down every Thursday morning for about 5 hours if I remember right. That sort of stuff I do not miss.

Edit: I just remembered: you could also only search the old forums once every 30 seconds. I do not miss that at all.

Remember last years April Fools Day joke on the forums when everybodies skin was that puke green Gleemax skin.

I have come to accept the new forums. They are not that bad after all. I do wish I could get my STAR WARS skin back.

These have better software (and yeah, constant forum shutdown was annoying) and it's easier to get to know a wide range of topics. Less scrolling, y'know? And right, the search option finally works (it never worked for me in the old ones).
The old ones had a 'Rate this thread' option and parchment look, which did not hurt the eyes as much as the everpresent white here.
Hey, maybe we could get these both things here too? Enough WotC-poking and we could get them?
