If I Could Reorganize the Boards

Dec 07, 2009 11:28:35 So it's been roughly 18 months since 4e was released. We had the initial frenzy of activity and now things are slowing down. A lot of boards get little traffic. I think we need to consider mergers. here's how I would consolidate the boards, were I in charge. (I'd get rid of the Legacy Forums altogether at this point, and send the RPGs section and Astrid's Parlor to General Gaming, where they always belonged.)

D&D General - as long as it is further down the list.

Community Business - as long as it is at the top

4e Abilities, Backgrounds, Feats, Skills, Multiclassing, Paragons & Destinies - I think Paragon has enough similarities to classes to be in there.

Dragon/Dungeon General Discussion - I can't think of a discussion *about* Dragon/Dungeon that can't fit in the other categories. D&Di General is the appropriate catch-all.

Community Business - as long as it is at the top

Sadly, the forums like alphabteizing. I'd agree, but I don't think the forum software allows it as presently coded.

Dec 07, 2009 16:16:57 That might be laziness though. For the group forums - I can organize the forums and subforums very easily. I would not be surprised if the current order of the forums is merely alphabetical because no one has taken the time to organize it further.
