That's suprising good news! Ok, apparently I missed the part about an entire week. Are you guys trying to kill me? Without the forums I'll be forced to do actual work at my desk.

A whole week without the boards? Thankfully there's facebook, or I'd probably die of boredom. I'm on here almost constantly when I'm at home.

That said, the new features sound good.

Aren't most of these features similar to the ones that the Gleemax community was supposed to have all those moons ago...

Guess I was wrong.

Part of me hopes not, only because most of the corporate filters classify wizards.com as a game site and block it, whereas gleemax.com doesn't fall into any of the filters. At the hospital this past weekend (emergency appendectomy), I could hit the Boards but not the Website.

Quick question:

What about those of us who have trade treads for the minis, we rely on the PM's to notify shipping numbers and the like?

Is it only the threads, or can we not access any part of our account?

The NMCI filter classifies the boards as a gamesite, I think.

I don't think it will even let me look at individual posts.

What ever happened to the good olde message board? Why do we need to keep updating and adding in "cute" little features that noone really needs?

ARGH! RAR! ANNOYED!

ARGH! RAR! ANNOYED!

We also have no need for microwave ovens or computers, but some people find them convenient. ;)

I think a blog could be nice, because i usually have far too much to say, once i start talking. Friends lists would make it feel more like i'm talking to someone i know than a random stranger. I would think of these "'cute' little features" as welcome additions to make my stay a bit more pleasant (, assuming they're arranged nicely and i don't have to make a 5-click transfer and 3 additional logs-in to get to each of them).

While it is annoying that I wont be able to peruse the forums for an entire week, it really wont kill me. I've gone longer without it. I do have many projects to work on. Maybe I will focus on one during this announced week of down time.

Edit: And I will fight even more with my w key, heh.

Hope it works out well... ahh... less than 3 days!!!
