Is it cool to post a survey?

I have to conduct a survey for one of my classes, and I was going to post it on Off-Topic or something, but then I thought that I remembered those not being okay? I really don't remember and I can't find anything about it anywhere, but I just want to make sure before I do it. It's about gamers, so I was hoping that the D&D boards might be a good place to look to get participants.

A much better route would be to create the survey on SurveyMonkey or something similar, and then post the link in a General Boards thread that you create. Make sure the Opening Post contains an explanation of what folks will see at the other end of the link, and explain its connection to gaming.

And when I see it, I will gladly take it, too.

Well I was going to post it on Off-Topic because it relates more to videogames than it does to D&D, so I'm not sure that I could get away with putting it on General...

I went ahead and posted it on off-topic. Depending on how it goes and what people think, I will put it on General later.
Thanks for giving me the idea to use Survey Monkey, by the way, I can't believe I hadn't thought of that.

Well, if it's more videogames than D&D, then it shouldn't go in General at all.

I would also suggest putting a link in your sig, so it shows up wherever you post.
