Is the forum always down in the early AM?

Jul 26, 2008 5:45:12 Sorry if this is a n00b question. I come here a lot in the early morning, around 5:00 or 6:00 East Coast time, but the site is always down.

Is this always the case, or have I just been tremendously unlucky in when I choose to surf the site? I usually don't have any problems getting in at other times.

It is anywhere from midnight to 5am WotC time that the forums go down for "nightly maintenance".

That was freaky.

I could go to any forum but General Discussion. When I tried to go there it would just sit and spin. I had to clear all my cookies before it would let me back in.

This is was the work of the Legion of Doom. To the Watchtower. ;)

We had that for a year or two. It was horrible. Even if you knew the title of the thread you wanted, you'd be lucky to get Google to spit it out.
