The Rules Q&A board is huge and I was wondering if perhaps there was a single topic that could be split off that might make its own forum. But as I perused the threads, I realized that a lot of threads really belong in other boards. In my opinion, if the OP is not asking a question about the rules, the thread belongs elsewhere. Suggestions, requests, house rules, etc. should be moved off the board to the appropriate forum and a stickied thread explaining the editorial rules for that forum need to be posted. I think this could help get Rules Q&A down to a manageable size. Just looking at the 70 threads active in the past 24 hours, I would suggest the following 15 threads could be moved under my criteria. This would reduce the active threads for the day to 55, which is almost manageable. It also means about 1/5 of the threads in the Rules Q&A board are in the wrong forum! It is the fact, at least as a new comer, I have seen any attempt, intended or not, to advise the board in general of potential thread movement. I like the way it was set up. It gave the name of the thread, linked too, and where its new home should be. Is it possible that a new sticky base on this could be created where people could go see where threads have gone? You could call it "Thread Transplants", or Thread Movement", whatever will do the trick. This would let the Team Leads and the board know of thread movement all at the same time. Just a thought...
