Just starting out

Jun 17, 2008 0:09:09		I'm not sure if this is the area to post this thread, but I couldn't really find any other place for it, so here goes:

D&D has always intrigued me. I think that it could be really fun, but I've been hesitant to get into it. Now, I'm thinking that I want to start playing, but I have absolutely no ideas how or where to get started as there is so much going on at once in the D&D universe. I would really appreciate any helpful information or advice on how to get stated. Thanks.

  • Go to your local gaming store.
  • Ask the guy/gal behind the counter when a session gets played in the store.
  • Show up then.
  • Watch.
  • After two sessions, ask if you can join.
The best way to get started is to cling to someone who has already started. :D
