| #1rico_huertaJan 11, 2009 2:46:25 | Hi! So, I am in a club at my university that is having a local convention for fantasy and science fiction. I am more into the fantasy realm, which is why I posted in this section. I want to run an event for this convention, but I'm not sure what I should do...I am not that experienced with running events at conventions, but I know D&D and can DM well. This is a smaller sizes function, so keep that in mind. There are already 2 people that wish to run a dungeon delve/ one timer for D&D 4th ed. I want to know if I should opt out to play a game of 3 Dragon Ante or Inn Fighting. I am expecting no one to know how to play either of these games, so I want to know which one I should teach and play at this convention...I like inn fighting a little bit more, but IDK which is easier to teach to someone who has no idea...any help or ideas would be much appreciated... THANKS in advance!!! ME PS> My first thoughts were to introduce DDM, but since DDM is on a down spiral I thought to introduce another, faster game that no one would get hooked on and have to deal with a semi-dying atmosphere. So DDM is also another option if you think that would be the best...I just want people to get into the D&D experience... |
