Logged in -> Remember me... is there even a point to this selection?

Tsuki, could you please try offering up something, anything even, that is even semi-positive? These are the Dungeons & Dragons Boards. For the most part, they are for Dungeons & Dragons players. It is generally safe to assume that most Dungeons & Dragons players enjoy playing the game. Enjoyment assumes some semblance of positivity. If you keep looking for the negative in things, you're definitely going to find it. But after a while, it's the only thing you will find because it will be the only thing you know how to see.

Why? because some fools haven't the common sense required to actually pick a password they can remember?

Like I said, can't think of anywhere else I have gone/go to that insists on regularly turning off the remember me function every 2 weeks.
It's annoying. Not a major problem, at least Firefox makes it a simple process. because at least it DOES remember and I just click it back on again.

But it's just another way the Wizard forums are not the equal of the rest of my internet wanderings.

And seeing as you seem to be following me around, why not also read my positive comments.
I DO make positive comments eh.
But I am not going to avoid making critical comments when they are merited.

Typically, this is an option. Some sites have this configured as a requirement. This is a security measure. There is nothing wrong with that. Should it be an option? Probably. But it's barely a trivial inconvenience. It's most certainly not a broken function, though.

Also, depending on your cache settings (I believe), if you log in from a secondary or tertiary computer, you may need to log back in from your primary computer when you go back to the site.

Feb 21, 2011 12:12:46 What browser are you using and what are your settings? I use firefox and have it set to clear all stored information every time I close it, so the remember me function on any website is useless to me.

Therefore, if you browse the site from a number of different computers (desktop, laptop, work computer, smartphone), you'll need to log in to the site at the start of a session here if you've been logged on somewhere else.
