| #1blackplaugeOct 02, 2009 17:34:35 | The "Sign Out" button on the front page no longer works properly. If I login with "Remember Me" checked, then the "Sign Out" button is non-functional. Clicking on it simply reloads the page. In order to sign out under these conditions I have to mannually delete my wizards.com cookies. Clicking "Sign Out" should log me out of the D&DI system regardless of whether or not I checked "Remember Me" when I logged in. While I appreciate the fact that the site can actully remember my login now, "Remember Me" should only eliminate login time outs and make it so that when I return to the site after closing my browser without logging out, I don't have to login again. It should not make the login permanent.
Given the universal login system, I imagine that all other "Sign Out" and "Logout" buttons/links on the site will suffer from the same problem. |

Does anyone else see the irony of having to post in a thread to get your personal accounts access to the help system? |
| #7mudbunnyOct 05, 2009 15:19:47 | The thread is a central place where ORCs can go and find people who, for whatever reason, have problems with their accounts that don't allow resolution via the help-system. It seems to be quite successful, and from browsing the thread, most people have their issue resolved within a couple of days. Seems to be working pretty good to me. I suggested something like this for problems with DDI accounts back when they first started offering pay accounts, and they expanded it to all problems with the help-system. |
