Looking for Fourth Edition gamers is hindered by the forum organization.

Dec 23, 2011 15:52:27 I just finally discovered the Looking for Group fora for Fourth Edition after two years here.

It should be grouped close to Community Business in the Fourth Edition fora, not isolated out far in the woods with the other Classified fora. I think that many Fourth Edition players are like myself and do not look at the hundreds of other fora which are unrelated to Foruth Edition: I do not want to wade through Axis and Allies, Magic and whatever else to find a forum for lookign for Fourth Edition players and groups.

Please move the Looking for Group fora for Fourth Edition. Because I do not think anyone ever looks there, and therefore the pleas for new players and groups go completely unnoticed.

Unfortunately, all that does is make it hard for players of all editions to find that forum. It does make more sense to group it by game/edition. The forums would be easier to find (which may cause them to actually get enough traffic to be useful instead of being so dead), and most people that post are looking for players of a specific game/edition anyway.

I think it should be more obvious, as easy to find as "GSL" is, for example, or "Character Optimization."

I hope I bookmarked it, because I don't think I could trace my way back there after a couple of weeks. However, this thread in Community Business helps:

"Looking for a group or online play, check this thread first."
