I was surprised to find that a search turned up nothing for this topic.

Can we get an alternate, lo-fi skin/theme for mobile browsing? I do a lot of forum-browsing from my phone, as I'm sure many people do.

The forum (and community pages in general) are really heavy on the stuff that gives your average mobile browser a heart attack, and the pages themselves are filled with extraneous clutter, when all I really want to do it read and post.

It could also be that no one's mentioned it because it already exists and I'm some manner of inattentive simpleton...

I use my phone for probably 60% of my surfing these days, maybe more. The biggest problem for me is that I can't post from my phone (BlackBerry Storm2.) Well, I can but it's very difficult. The text box is tiny and hard to click in. When it's "work" to post in a forum it's much less likely I'll even try. That's not a good thing since I view this forum as a significant part of DDi (whether officially it is or is not is irrelevant.)

I asked for this when the forum first changed over to this format. I'm still waiting. I almost never come to the forums anymore because I can't do it from my phone. I use my phone for probably 60% of my surfing these days, maybe more. The biggest problem for me is that I can't post from my phone (BlackBerry Storm2.) Well, I can but it's very difficult.
