You could ask yourself what forums it could have fit in, and go there, as most threads that gets moved were posted in the wrong forum.

It will still be listed in the forum you originally posted it in, with an arrow in the symbol next to it, find that and click the link to find you thread. Or checking your profile might work.

Just click on your name. You will get some options, one of which is finding all of your posts.

..and with that attitude you thread was probably deleted.

PS: Is this I need a mini to match my... your thread? (which took me all of 2 seconds to find with the search function "that doesn't work").

Well the OP has one thing right. Searching in general is more often broken then not. At this moment it seems to work but most of the times that I try it I just get an empty page.

Just click on your name. You will get some options, one of which is finding all of your posts.

Another given option in the profile page is to find all threads started by that person.
It makes it allot easier to find threads you started.

Link for Jack of All Trades: http://forums.gleemax.com/search.php?do=process&showposts=0&starteronly=1&exactname=1&searchuser=Jack+of+All+Trades
Also note that moved threads leave a link to the place moved to and the path to that thread is listed at the top of the page.

Another option is to add "site:http://forums.gleemax.com" to a google search.

The search function doesn't work.

You can search for threads/posts by username, but you cannot search for "fighters" or "edition war" or "pun-pun".

Sorry, for not responding sooner, I'm kind of embarrassed but not entirely so. When "they" move your thread they leave a link to it in the same forum you started it in.

Its just that it doesn't keep its time stamp. When you check the threads above and below it they have different time stamps then both the original post and the last post then in the thread that was moved. It's completely ridiculous.

Nonetheless, I should have looked a little bit further before relying on posting, and for that I'm sorry. Now will somebody please delete or at least lock this thread for me.

I'm so tired of the blank pages that I gave up on the forum search and just use google with "site:forums.gleemax.com". It saves a lot of headaches.

Also, as others have said: just click your name and "Find all posts by _____". That's how I found a thread that got moved that I had posted on recently.
