I've been playing dnd for about 3 years. My character cromeus is now evil. he wasnt always eveil, but long story short i have to go somewhere where no one will ever find me. and even if they do figure out where i am, there is no way to come get me. because if they do get to me I am dead. The they im reffering to is the good party i play with. they are immensly powerful and will kill my favorite character. if anyone has any ideas such as alternate dimensions or anything of the sort. please let me know. =]

Well, since you've been playing for 3 years, you must know by now that story elements and such are up to you and your DM. If the character is creating conflicts, it might be time to retire him and start a new one.

In 3rd edtion, IIRC, the content of a portable hole is "lost forever" if you put a bag of holding in the portable hole.

lets see ... can't you go work in the palace for an evil god or something? Sure they can find you, but can they handle a siedge on Tiamat's lair?

Going with Paradox on this one, talk to your DM. That's...that's pretty much what he's there for.

You asked for some spell in 2nd edition format, so I would ask one thing: Which edition of game do you use?

The secound most important question would be about the setting you use. And the third would be about levels.

A short advice is simple:  Try to misslead your party and make them think you are in a certain area... Some area that can be deadly for them. If they would hear repeatedly that you are in the depths of underdark, allied with a deep dragon and sending various minions to the surface, they might go to that area, while you somewhere else.

Surviving underdark can be tricky.

Or let them believe you are in a dungeon, and make sure you aren't there. Many parties would enter, and would be surprised to see water from a nearby river flows in, the gates are "pretty hard to open" and spellcasting is difficult... leading them to a trap can be possible.
