| #1LFKMay 19, 2008 17:17:08 | As much as I love the Frozen Shade, I want this girl as my avatar:![]() Pretty please? |
| #2Loki5654May 19, 2008 17:52:46 | Here's the one I want:![]() I thought I saw a thread in Community business where you could request new avatars. I'll have to look again... |
| #3sigil_beguilerMay 19, 2008 17:54:56 | As much as I love the Frozen Shade, I want this girl as my avatar: I would love to see that one as well. Also, am I the only one that noticed the tattoo looks sorta "quakey" :p |
| #4jedi_master_trobonMay 19, 2008 18:32:23 | Here's the one I want: That would so be my avatar. Or at least that's what I will probably be playing in my first game. |
| #5LFKMay 19, 2008 18:39:14 | I thought I saw a thread in Community business where you could request new avatars. I'm still digging, but they seem to keep those forums pretty tidy, deleting old posts instead of letting them rot. |
| #6That_Blasted_SomoflangeMay 19, 2008 18:44:25 | I kinda want this one.![]() |
| #7That_Blasted_SomoflangeMay 19, 2008 18:45:17 | As much as I love the Frozen Shade, I want this girl as my avatar: When I first saw her, I thought she was related to Boba Fett, what with that tattoo on her arm. |
| #8jprostovichMay 19, 2008 18:49:24 | Is this a new version of Lidda? Judging by the size of the chest she's opening she is most likely a halfling....or that's just a really big treasure chest |
| #9LFKMay 19, 2008 18:51:49 | Is this a new version of Lidda? Judging by the size of the chest she's opening she is most likely a halfling....or that's just a really big treasure chest i think she is a Halfling, but surprisingly they haven't named the Iconic characters this time around. On the EN World boards one of the game store owners who had a chance to flip through the core books when the Wizards Rep was in said he didn't see any names for the characters in the pictures. |

On the EN World boards one of the game store owners who had a chance to flip through the core books when the Wizards Rep was in said he didn't see any names for the characters in the pictures. That's too bad. I actually liked the named iconics. I felt like they were part of the D&D Universe like Elminster was part of the Forgotten Realms Campaign. |
| #11Otto_the_BugbearMay 19, 2008 19:34:36 | It'd be silly not to offer them. That make good sense to offer for the release. Not that I want to switch. And some of the art is pretty good. (Yes, some is not good as well, just like always.) |
| #12Loki5654May 20, 2008 1:18:19 | Word from reliable sources say that our best bet would be to avatar-ize them ourselves and submit them (to whom, I'm not quite sure). Anyone more graphically inclined care to take a crack at putting together a roster of about a dozen 4e avatars? |
| #13sophismataMay 20, 2008 2:07:05 | Do you know the size requirements for these forums? Many of the avatars in this thread are different sizes, is the max 85/85? |
| #14emwasickMay 20, 2008 2:32:55 | Is this a new version of Lidda? Judging by the size of the chest she's opening she is most likely a halfling....or that's just a really big treasure chest I got through the bolded part and I scrolled back up. I said to myself, "Her back is to us. How can he... OH. Treasure chest." Sorry. |
| #15Otto_the_BugbearMay 20, 2008 6:13:45 | Do you know the size requirements for these forums? Many of the avatars in this thread are different sizes, is the max 85/85? When Uncon winners were given the option of custom avatars, the maximum is 80 x 80 or 19.5 KB, whichever is smaller. If the avatars they provide are slightly larger, it's probably best to maintain the 80 x 80 maximum when submitting avatars based on 4ed art, just to be on the safe side. |
| #16batshidoMay 20, 2008 8:06:28 | I got through the bolded part and I scrolled back up. I said to myself, "Her back is to us. How can he... OH. Treasure chest." I did the same thing. It took a second to catch the meaning; "Well, she does seem to be a little better filled out than Lidda was, maybe that's something new for 4E. I hadn't seen any threads on halfling breast size, so I guess I just assumed it hadn't changed at all. Not sure how I feel about half-size people with full-sized breasts." |
| #17Nemo_the_LostMay 20, 2008 10:25:08 | Is this a new version of Lidda? Judging by the size of the chest she's opening she is most likely a halfling....or that's just a really big treasure chest No one say I didn't call it... |
| #18_jayne_cobb_May 20, 2008 11:42:06 | Given the option, I might switch to this one:![]() |
| #19emwasickMay 20, 2008 12:21:06 | I did the same thing. It took a second to catch the meaning; Yeah, I totally got over that in college. |
| #20PhobosMay 20, 2008 12:34:50 | I got through the bolded part and I scrolled back up. I said to myself, "Her back is to us. How can he... OH. Treasure chest." Ha, thank Dol Dorn I'm not alone.... |
| #21bobthedogMay 20, 2008 12:37:43 | I did the same thing. It took a second to catch the meaning; Well... Maybe it's the fact that I know some half-sized women with full-sized breasts that are, well, interesting (;)), or maybe it's the fact that if dragonborn females get them, why not halflings, but I must disagree with you on this one, Batshido. WotC, please give halfling girls some implants, right now! |
| #22sophismataMay 21, 2008 23:40:11 | ![]() ![]() ![]() The 2H dragon guy is really hard to do without the picture looking very empty .Edit: ![]() Is that OK? |
| #23pogminkyMay 22, 2008 2:33:03 | 4e avatars would be great. And screensavers. And wallpapers. Oh, and T-shirts. And some more of those silly cartoons. And maybe a hat. But no films. |
| #24wotansman_dupMay 22, 2008 2:46:10 | 4e avatars would be great. I'll just ask for "no Crappy films"... From the total poundage of stories that have come through the hallowed halls of D&D x.x through the ages, there has got to be more stories than that... I'd love a new cartoon series based on packaged adventures, like do an entire leveling of folk... I think it would be wicked. Keep on the Border, IN TECHNICOLOR! |
| #25blue_tigerMay 22, 2008 13:28:20 | I wouldn't mind a Tiefling Warlord. I don't have an image of one to post but the one in R&C was cool. |
| #26LFKMay 23, 2008 15:39:26 | So, now that this is over in the community business forum, who do we talk to to see if this is doable or not? |
| #27otakuabelmontMay 23, 2008 15:44:23 | Me? I'd love to see Eilistree as my avatar. I spent about half an hour looking for her when I signed up. |
| #28gamer_zer0May 23, 2008 17:23:30 | So, now that this is over in the community business forum, who do we talk to to see if this is doable or not? I'll check with WotC_Michelle to see if we can have those added. =) |
| #29LFKMay 23, 2008 17:29:14 | I'll check with WotC_Michelle to see if we can have those added. =) Yaaay! *hugs* |
| #30sophismataMay 25, 2008 1:15:13 | Cool . |
| #31LFKMay 30, 2008 1:02:10 | Hey, Gamer_Zer0, just wondering if there's an update on the the Avatars. It's some awesome art and it'd be a great touch to have some 4e additions for the new edition. Har har har. Thanks a bunch |
| #32pogminkyMay 30, 2008 2:10:17 | Avatars - Screensavers - Wallpapers......![]() |
| #33markustay63Aug 17, 2008 13:09:23 | I'll check with WotC_Michelle to see if we can have those added. =) I sent in a bunch (about 400) last year for the FR boards, and now I have a TON of new ones (a LOT of 4e) ready to go, but the address I used to send them to no longer works. I found out the address didn't work when I made a bunch of Gygax Memorial ones, so I contacted a Wiz-O (who was extremely helpful) and they got them put up immediately. I'm not sure what the protocols are anynore, but like I said, I have a boatload of new ones ready to go (with some old classics, like Dragonlance, mixed in). I have also placed them in seperate folders this time, since they come from several product lines, not just FR.* Please let me Know how I can continue to contribute to this community . ![]() *And, as always, I double-checked to make sure everyone of them was the property of WotC. ;) |
