I wanted to register a complaint about the new icons that are appearing on every post now (Twitter links, facebook likes, ratings, moderaction, etc). While I may not personally want to use those features, I don't begrudge their addition.
What I DO have a problem with is that you have added these links at both the top AND the bottom of posts. Most posts on these boards are only a few lines long. So effectively there is a row of options that repeats every inch or so of the screen. This takes up a huge amount of real estate (almost more so than the rest of the post!), takes longer to load, and makes it more difficult to actually find and read the conversation. It's redundant, and (speaking as a web developer) bad interface design.
Could you please reduce these links to only a single line per post? There are few posts that are so long that you wouldn't be able to scroll to the top or bottom to get to the links.
