Hello

I am and old PnP PC and DM. However I eventually stopped playing table top Dungeons and Dragons in my adulthood, due its time consuming nature, and because of other priorities like career and family.

Back in 2002 I discovered the video game Neverwinter Nights, and more importantly the PnP style persistant-world server called Narfell.

Now I can log-in at my convenience and role play my characters in a dynamic and open world.

Narfell has been running for 12 years straight, and there is a reason many PC's have continued to play there for over a decade. The DM team and Developers at Narfell have really tried to make it as close to pen and paper as possible. With similar rules for death and ressurection, and many other changes.

With the age of the NWN game and the fact that game spy has dropped support, we are not getting many new players finding us. I feel   Narfell fills a great need for D&D fans,  and I am recruiting new players to our server.

Our forums are located at www.Narfell.us

You may check out the forums for examples of our stories and role playing. As well as when to see when the peak playing times are, and when all the DM events and plots are taking place.

NWN can be downloaded from Good Old Games for $9.99. It comes patched and ready to play on Narfell. No hak-packs are required. Since its an old game it runs great on any PC. You will have to direct connect to our server using the IP address on the Narfell website.

Happy RP'ing!

It has occurred to me to wonder, if NeverwinterNights could be altered to use 5e rules instead of 3.5e

Does anyone have any thoughts on whether or not that would be (a) worthwhile and (b) feasible ?

i'd rather make new game and follow current trends, but include 3rd edition (and not only) in new games, pnp and online.

Hi,

I'm afraid this is not the correct forum for this post so I'll be moving it to D&D Community Business

Thanks.
